Buttery and vibrant, made from only the finest pigments. W&N carefully formulate each tone for stability, tinting strength and coverage. Use them thickly with palette knives or brushes, or thin them to a very fine glaze.

Cobalt Violet is a delicate semi-transparent purple pigment. It was a new synthetic pigment in the 1860s and was used by famous artists such as Monet and Seurat.
