ARTISTS' OIL COLOUR CADMIUM ORANGE

Buttery and vibrant, made from only the finest pigments. W&N carefully formulate each tone for stability, tinting strength and coverage. Use them thickly with palette knives or brushes, or thin them to a very fine glaze.

Cadmium Orange is an opaque orange single pigment colour with high tinting strength and good covering abilities. Cadmium pigments were discovered in the 1820s as a by-product to the zinc production.
