Worbla's Deco Art 200g
WDA0005Worbla’s ® Deco Art (WDA) – the thermoplastic beads of the Worbla’s ® Art series for pretty much any imaginable type of impression and freeform modeling!
Like all products in the Worbla’s ® Art series , it is classified as safe for health and is manufactured and processed without solvents.
Worbla’s ® Deco Art is activated by heat from approx. 65°C, hardens completely within 10 minutes and can be reactivated at any time.
The application is very simple: Place the desired amount of WDA beads into a metal sieve (not plastic!) and then put the sieve in hot water. Once the beads become transparent, they are activated and can now either be incorporated into a mold (e.g., made of silicone or hard plastic) or shaped freehand.
Of course, you can also simply use them to smooth edges and transitions, for example, of Worbla's® Finest Art .
Acrylic paint, spray paint, or permanent markers are suitable for painting WDA . Acrylic paint can also be mixed directly into the activated WDA.
To do this, simply knead the color into the activated material using latex gloves, wait a short while, and then you can reactivate the colored Worbla’s® Deco Art and use it to model all sorts of things or take impressions without making a mess. This means that you can create very intricately detailed surfaces with Worbla’s® Deco Art that are nevertheless free from the risk of the color chipping during use. Everything can usually be easily bonded using its inherent adhesive properties, but other adhesives can also be used.
Free from potentially harmful substances such as solvents
Excellent modeling properties, also suitable for detailed work, and for making impressions from molds.
Simple, safe and mess-free handling, even for beginners.
Can be reactivated as often as desired (best at approx. 65°C)
Processing time up to several minutes, depending on the exposure time to the activation heat.
It includes its own heat-activated adhesive.
The material can be colored directly with acrylic paint.
No unusable residues and storage is possible for years under normal conditions.
Tip: If Worbla’s ® Deco Art is heated with hot air, it becomes extremely sticky; heating it with water greatly reduces this stickiness.
