L&B 1 Litre Gesso

Get your surfaces ready for painting with our matte acrylic gesso. This bright white formula comes pre-mixed and resists yellowing over time, making it suitable for a variety of porous materials such as canvas, paper, stone, and plaster. It provides a smooth, reliable base for paint, drying in just 30 minutes and allowing for sanding once set.

For best results on porous surfaces, apply two cross-coats and sand between layers. It can also be used as a primer for oil painting surfaces, though it should not be mixed with turpentine or oil paints. Cleaning is easy—simply rinse tools with water after use.
