Angelus Leather Dye - Jet Black
086366500026Angelus Leather Dye Jet Black 3oz is a special type of paint for dyeing leather. This paint is alcohol-based, and the dyeing process is slightly different from that of our regular Angelus leather paint. With this dye, you do not apply a layer on top of the leather product, but instead, the dye penetrates deep into the leather fibres. This gives the leather a permanent colour that cannot be washed off or damaged.
Applying Angelus Leather Dye Jet Black 3oz
Although applying Angelus Leather Dye Jet Black 3oz for smooth leather works excellently, there are also other materials you can dye, such as wood and stone. Especially for furniture, this is a practical solution if, for example, you want to paint a leather sofa and wooden table the same colour. When you buy the dye, you also receive a handy cotton ball. This allows you to easily apply the dye to the product, however, using a brush is handy if you are dealing with hard-to-reach areas. Make sure not to use too much dye at once, as this can cause colour differences across the surface.
Note: Penetrating paint is excellent for dyeing a light colour in a darker shade, but you should not use dye to lighten a darker colour! For permanent dyeing of suede, we have special Angelus suede dye in our range.
