ARTISTS' OIL COLOUR TRANSPARENT RED OCHRE

Buttery and vibrant, made from only the finest pigments. W&N carefully formulate each tone for stability, tinting strength and coverage. Use them thickly with palette knives or brushes, or thin them to a very fine glaze.

Transparent Red Ochre is one of the oldest pigments. Originally made from the natural iron oxides found in earth, it is a brownish red pigment and was often used in Michelangelo's drawings.
