Buttery and vibrant, made from only the finest pigments. W&N carefully formulate each tone for stability, tinting strength and coverage. Use them thickly with palette knives or brushes, or thin them to a very fine glaze.
Yellow Ochre Pale is an opaque warm yellow. Originally made from natural iron oxides found in earth, it is one of the oldest pigments used by man. A synthetic version became available in the 1920s.
