ARTISTS' OIL COLOUR PERMANENT CARMINE

Buttery and vibrant, made from only the finest pigments. W&N carefully formulate each tone for stability, tinting strength and coverage. Use them thickly with palette knives or brushes, or thin them to a very fine glaze.

Permanent Carmine is a mid-crimson pigment. Highly transparent and permanent, it is a lower cost replacement to genuine Carmine. In Antiquity, Carmine was made from thousands of crushed kermes insects.
